George J. Houndalas
George Houndalas was born in Athens.
Studied Business Management-Marketing and Art. at the University of LA Verne, CA specializing in advertising. He also studied Tourism Business at the Athens Technical University and completed his postgraduate studies at Cardiff University in Wales. At Thomas Cook he gained relevant professional experience. He then studied in Bergamo, Italy and worked for the advertising company Saatchi & Saatchi. He completed many seminars at E.E.D.E. with a major in the art of advertising. At the same time, he was a member and representative of the University of La Verne to the EIM – Hellenic Marketing Institute. at the “Icon Painting” Workshop and at the Benaki Museum. He also completed seminars in art therapy, psychology of art and life coaching and at MoMA in New York on the evolution of contemporary art at the level of historical retrospective in the categories of painting and audiovisual representations as well as the historical evolution and trends of clothing to Today. His assets include a solo and many participations in group exhibitions in Greece:
